Medical Education Grants
Horizon Pharma is pleased to provide Medical Education Grants in support of specific educational activities for health care professionals and consumers that may provide for better management of chronic conditions and patient safety.
The Medical Education Grants Department is comprised of health care professionals who facilitate the lifelong learning for other health care professionals and consumers through support of independent education. The Medical Education Grants Department is committed to supporting innovative, high-quality, educational activities, sponsorships, etc., that target unmet needs, foster clinical excellence and impact areas of concern for consumers and health care professionals.
Horizon Pharma considers funding of activities related to the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, chronic granulomatous disease, chronic refractory gout, nephropathic cystinosis, severe malignant osteopetrosis, urea cycle disorders and other related topics.
To formally submit requests, please complete the online form and attach a signed Letter of Request, a proposal that includes an assessment documenting why the education is necessary (needs assessment), an agenda or brochure describing the schedule of events or activity, a detailed budget identifying all sources of funding and how grant funds will be used, evidence of accreditation to provide continuing education credit and/or tax exempt status. Please submit requests at least 60 days prior to the activity start date.
